Because of the constantly changing needs of CBC’s military congregation
the ministries of CBC are flexible and changeable. However, here are a
few of the ministries that are currently in place and are usually on the
monthly calendar.
Soul Winning and Visitation
Every other Saturday is the time when CBC comes together to spread the
Good News in the local community.
Ladies’ Ministry
T-Time: Once a month the ladies get together for their T-Time which
stands for: “talk” time (sharing daily events and burdens); “touch” time
(giving hugs); “tear” time (sharing tears of joy or sadness); This is a
fellowship time with a devotional lesson.
CROSS
This is a weight loss and spiritual growth support group which meets
once a week for lunch. CROSS stands for: Changing, Reducing, Overcoming,
Self & Sin.
Special Ladies’ Events
The Ladies will get together for special
events such as shopping in nearby towns, the Spring Tea which is
patterned after an English tea, and the annual South of the Alps Ladies’
Retreat which is usually held in the autumn.
Men’s Ministry
Prayer Breakfast: Once a month the men gather together for a
breakfast feast and take time to talk about church matters. Then they
take time to pray for one another’s burdens, church ministries, and our
missionaries.
Special Men’s Events
The men will get together at different
times for such events as a camp out, men’s retreat in Germany, bike
rides, or hikes.
Couple’s Ministry
Pastor Olsen teaches a Marriage Discipleship class to couples who are
interested in improving their marriage.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s church is held during the Sunday morning worship time.
This allows parents to pay closer attention to the message and glean
truths from God’s Word.
Patch the Pirate Club
This is a club for children in grades
K-6th. Patch Club meets on Fridays from 6:30pm-8:00 pm.
